Does anyone know if its possible to turn off the daylight running lights on my new Fabia Vrs,hidden switch maybe,or a combination switch gear moves.

Not a lover of them,too much like fogs for me,which I find really annoying.

I am aware that they dim when you apply the side and dipped beam.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There is a switch inside the fuse box cover under the rotating light switch on the dash.

The cover pulls down revealing the fuses and a small switch

Yes this turns off the lights, however when you turn on the side lights, the DRL's come on - only dimmer than normal, as these are the side lights. This is because there is no bulb in the main headlight unit, other than the dipped beam and main beam, and indicator bulb. There is a light bulb in the unit which is blue in colour, but does not work.
