Just had some work done to my old girl......

First off,

I noticed a drone and grinding noise the other day from the front end of my car. It has got worse over the last 2 days and I booked her in to Welsh VW Specialists in barry.

As they were under it I thought Id get them to fit my Ball joints too.

They are doing the one bearing and the joints and they have just been in to keep me updated and warned me about a small pos leak from the front passengers side shock.

I must big up these fellas here as they have kept me in the loop and have been very helpful too.

Now back to it and this shock. They have been on since Aug 2008 ish and prob covered 40k (iro) What I would like to know, is anyone else with Weitec coilovers having similar probs? They say its fine for now but might need doing at some point.

I am hoping to take her off the road before may and get a Furby vRS as a work commute so its no real biggy as Ill be sorting everything out.
