Hi all,

New member here calling in from Belgium, you know the country of people having the radiation of a damp rag ..... :giggle:

Today my son-in-law entered the order at the Skoda garage to have his new company car, it will be a Yeti CRTDI 2.0l 140bhp 4x4 DSG box in Experience edition plus with all the possible options available, all this in order to take the maximum possible within his budget. The car is expected end of march 2011. Actually he drives a VW Passat break 2.0l CR Tdi of 136bhp, car of which he nor my daughter are pleased with, and this since day 1 he got it (4 years ago now). We did a testdrive with the same motorisation and gearbox (140bhp and 4x4 + dsg) on tuesday this week and it was a very positive experience. The engine is known to us as my daughter drives a Dodge Caliber with the same 140bhp engine. I myself drive a LandRover Freelander1 (since january 9th 2001) Td4 Steptronic. Very pleased with it but have to admit I don't drive that much anymore, all in all over the nearly 10 years I've done now 76.500 kms, went to the yearly MOT on monday this week and passed it with flying colors. But enough about strangers, I hope that the delivery of the Yeti will be advanced so that more news and driving impressions can be introduced here. Good luck to all and wish you all many happy and troublefree motoring kilometers/miles. Ciao.

Hi and welcome aboard.
