After having to ferry family members around this weekend and having to constantly warn/apologise about the state of the car I thought a quick wash was wise.

To be honest is wasn't that bad

and i've no idea where the other half has been to do this!

Being the good son that I am I also ran a hose over my mum's LE - i think it needed it

and no at that point i hadn't done the wheels!

I did them quickly afterwards though but the 100 miles i've done this afternoon has made the whole exercise pretty pointless

Wish I could do mine, mine has not been done in about a month :'( with the weather we have had up here receently.

Mines black, well, the rear has been matte black for god knows how long. So its good to see how bad it would have looked if it were another colour. Washed it, then one 20min run out in it and hey presto, whole boot it covered in a brown kinda mud colour crap.

I wasn't that bothered (the other half commutes everyday so i only see the car at the weekends) but having to tell your gran to be really careful not to touch anything is a little embarrassing!

I did consider getting it "Polished" at my local Tescos but i had a spare hour and i'm incredibly tight!

Tried washing mine recently, didn't think it was all that cold but just ended up putting a coating of ice on the car

my yellow looks filthy!

doesnt help me turbo seal is leaking and burning off oil!

Your spiders ar 16" aren't they? I like the last pic, really shows the difference between the stock 16's and the Octy 16's.

yep they are just 16 inchers. having cleaned both them and the standards on quick succession I was supprised how smilar they arctually are. Although my spiders are obviously much better
