been looking in this months auto express and to my shock and horror it only comes third in the test after the fiesta st and the clio 182! the stats below were what were given:-

0-60 8.5 secs

30-70 threw gears 8.1 secs

30-50 in third 3.4 secs

40-60 in fourth 4.7 secs

50-70 in fifth 6.7 secs (sixth 8.3 secs)

how would this conpare to a remapped furby vrs any one done the tests?

it may have come 3rd but lets face it the other 2 are petrol units!!

Dont bother me that it's in 3rd place I'd rather have the furby over the other 2 anyday.

what have you done to your car flatfourburble to get 194 bhp?? not bad that.

haven't really tested it, I'm in London so finding a good road for a blast is not that easy!! (only had it done friday and the weather isn't great at the moment) But it is now very quick indeed. Might have a good run at the weekend and see what it can do.

I got that issue too - I had been looking out for a better spread of performance figures (other than 0-60).

I think the Fabia had the best (or one of the best) in-gear acceleration figures didn't it? - they also said something like it being the best in the 'real world' didn't they? By far the best MPG and Insurance group too . .

bottom line is that the fab won that test hands down!! look at the negatives they give about it,body roll noisy at tickover no three door?? is that it?? thats nothing to make it third!! the clio which came seconds bad points are low speed stearing driving position,gear shift and costly to run! these all have somethin to do with the driving experiance of the car, no three door for the fab?? who gives a **** this does nothing to how the car runs!! hope you can grasp what im sayin?

Correct! unfortunately my Digital Camera doesnt have sound but I can quite easily show you all a 0-!00, and it's about 10% quicker than my brothers Clio 172 now, and he has lightened alloys & a green panel filter and lowering springs meaning he gets the power down easier.

So out of the 3 it would be the fastest once remapped, but yes it's probably the same as the Fiesta ST when standard, no where near as fast as a 182 as they are manic.

just incase there is any confusion, a remapped furby would be as quick as a 182 I reckon if not a bit quicker from 70+ mph...

I will see if I can do some testing this weekend and post some vids and pictures.
