Featured Replies

Anyone seen any around? i know they all seem to be £429 for 16b but im wondering if any places are giving away free stuff, ie itunes vouchers etc

like hmv do with ipods

TKMAXX recently had a good deal on them.

I often check www.hotukdeals.co.uk for decent offers and online vouchers for loads of pruducts

UK prices are daft, I picked my 32GB one up for £330 in the Apple Store at Florida Mall in August. Will be selling it soon though as I am looking at Android Tablets :)

I have an iPad, and was playing with a Samsung Galaxy Tab at the weekend. I couldn't see the point in the Android tablet as if you buy one with equivalent hardware spec to an iPad, it's no cheaper, and the Android interface seemed quite clunky, and the apps selection is poor. Even Google say that Android isn't yet suitable for tablets, only 'phones. On top of that, you are dependant on the manufacturer providing updated versions of the Android OS for the specific hardware, and some of the early ones are already no longer supported for updates.
