Hello again!

Featured Replies

I was on here as VRS-R before. I had to start again as this forum would not log me in as my previous name! Anyway i'm supose to be buying this lovely Skoda Octavia Vrs next week. Unfortunately i'm kind of stuck on whether to buy the Vrs or a Subaru Impreza 2.0R (non turbo) The reason why a Subaru is of a few reasons. I live on a cul de sac and when it snows it's inpossible to drive anywhere for ages!. I don't know how the Vrs drives in snow but as the Subaru is 4x4 it would probably be saver. Also I could buy a Subaru Impreza 2.0R for £1k less & 22k miles less than the Vrs. I'm not sure as to what the running cost would be on the Subaru but as it's a non turbo it might be cheap. Any thoughts on my idea or would a Subaru be a bad idea?

welcome back to Briskoda, and if you put winter tyres on the vrs you should be okay.

Thanks mate  , I'm still sticking to the Skoda i've put a deposit on 2 weeks ago. I will buy some good winter tyres during the summer as it might be cheaper then. When I get my red devil Vrs! I shall put some pictures on here B)
