2nd rear fog light VRS 2010

Featured Replies

Can anyone help me locate where in the vga software I can switch on the second rear fog light on my 2010 VRS estste?

I have been through all the menus on the vag and there is nothing about rear fog lights, the description of how to do it on other pages does match up with the software on my VRS. I am wondering if they have changed it on the 2010 models?

would appreaciate any help

thanks

Lots of discussion on this already.

Some claim to have managed it using VCDS but none are willing to share!

It's certainly more difficult than it is with the pre-FL.

Don't think you can sport, have looked myself and no joy, hey ho....

No offense to the poster, but I don't understand this obsession with second fog light for many people here. Do you think that it's going to help you in any way compared to 1 rear fog light? If someone is going to hit you at the back, it's not going be because you are missing a second rear light.

Switching things on and off because you can is a man thing, some may understand.....

What!?

Two lights equals twice the light output.

OK, not twice as bright but twice as much chance of being seen.

It is very possible for one side of the car to be obscured in some way.

I only use my rear fogs when absolutely neccessary, when visibility is reduced to 100m or less. In conditions such as these I'm grateful for any additional protection.
