Monte Carlo version to arrive next year.

Appears to be what we thought Sport would be.

Gather new Monte Carlo version (to celebrate IRC victory?) will have some pretty bits but use smaller engines to be a pull for younger owners who would get wacked with big insurance quotes/costs for bigger engined Fabias.

Look forward to it as Octavia petrols are so bad on fuel for the skool run. If some one sees some pictures please post?

Some info due out shortly. Sounds like it will be like the "Special Edition MK 1 VRS" bits ie loads of goodies for half the price they would be.

No idea when it will be out but it sounds like a jazzed up version of the old "sports" versions and hopefully on the smaller engines so good for new drivers and as a good town car as that what we want as Octys as so poor for fuel round town.

However it has quite a few addition extras including body styling, 17" alloy wheels, black roof, smoked headlights and a few other bits. and they haven't yet been given a date when it's due to be launched.

iam going to wait for the new sport to cume out in the mean time try and find sume photos of the car and prices

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say but STRIPES are a DEFINITE no no.....no matter who is looking at it!!

Colour red and possibly others and no stripes I understand but contrast colour roof. Hopefully the non-VAT applies to the Monte Carlo upgrade as this will be a lot of money saved and therefore a TSI Fabia with Monte Carlo add ons will be fantastic value.

I like the shiny black trim. If that was white, an estate and that interior wasn't red that would look awesome!

So did I. I think it looks much better than the vRS too, wonder why they've styled this sports wannabe more aggressively despite the relatively feeble engine compared to the vRS?
