Lowering

Featured Replies

Looking at lowering the motor.

I thought i had two options.

Eibach lowering springs

Coilovers: Weitec or AP?

But then i saw These

Whats people's views on the above options?

i think cause the vrs is 15mm lower then standard car it will still only lower 20mm

or buy devonutopias kw v1's and get them refurbed, v1's are very good

stop being a tight a*se and get coilovers, you know that what you really want to do and will eventually do, why not do it now, as mentioned devonutopia's are up for sale, steel at that price too

i know but i'm not the richest bloke atm. i'd rarther not buy something that needs fixing before i've got it on the car either no offence to devontopia. do you fit Coilies at Shark?

Yer its a good point but surely refurbing those would be a lot more cost effective than either buying some AP or Weitecs at full wack, or even buying the others you where on about and then find out there poor quality and not what you want. You will be in the same boat as your in now but without the opportunity to buy devonutopia's (as he will probabiliy have sold them) as well as losing money on the ones you buy cheap. They will be cheap for a reason mate.

btw no we dont do fitting at shark but any garage should be able to fit them for around £100, thats what i did.

Car will only lower so-far before wheels disappear up into wheel arches and foul inner wheel arches, and chassis bottom-out to ground???

Hi

APEX , big no no

I can remember one Fabia with them on coming when I worked at Awesome

Wow , they was so so hard :(

The guy had the car 1 week (second hand) and had them removed

I would stick to what is KNOWN to work well

I think Awesome are doing some free delivery on these just now

Also remember , VAT goes up in January ;)

Just a little saving to be made

Have fun

Oooh and dont forget the rear ARB to finnish off the fantastic handling ;)

I can still help you spend your money LOL
