snow tyrers

As per an eariler post, i'm on summer tyres but with autosocks fitted to the front. Great grip, but based on wear over the past 2 days, i don't think they will last very long. You shouldn't use them on bare tarmac, but it is totally impractical to keep taking them off and putting them on during a journey.

However, at £65 they haven't crippled me financially, which would have been the case trying to get decent winter tyres at the present time. :'(

if you fit snow tyres make sure you tell your insurance company as they are classed as a mod and so will add to your premium :dull: as my brother in law found out when he fitted them!!! :o

Only if you are insured by an 'iffy' company.

Thankfully most companies are now seeing sense with winter tyres (they are not just for snow)

Got 205 55 16's cooper weather masters on mine, work great on ice but dunno about snow yet as the weather has decided it would be funny for me to fit snow tyres and decide that it would miss York out with the new bout of snow :(

If you're after 205 55 16's i know where they may be a place with some in stock, came in 3 days
