Anyone got the instrument panel / connector wiring diagram? Or more specifically which of the cables is power and earth/neutral? Or, are there any other wires down that end of the car, easily accessible, which could supply me a reasonable power/earth?

Could be something like that. But wouldn't mind knowing for sure if this is a good way, or if there's better.

Generally I'd avoid messing behind the instrument panel as they tend to be pretty easy to damage foil :(

That said, you'll prolly want one of the more techy experienced types with Skoda cars rather than my general knowledge in this case
