Fast Idle not so fast anymore

Happy Christmas all-

Slight problem with my 2000-reg 1.3 MPI Felicia- until recently, on startup it would idle at 1100 or so until it warmed up, idling steadily then at 800 or so- now it seems to be 'choked' on start-up, idling at about 850 or so, and feeling very much like its getting a little too much fuel - lumpy, and slow to pick up when rev'ed- when its warm it ticks over lovely, and the engine pulls strongly and cleanly- -theres 58k on the clock- has anybody encountered this before? - cheers
