What next?

Featured Replies

Evening all.

I have finally pulled my finger out and have started 'improving' the Furb.. So far, I have added:

PD160 induction plastics (and removal of 'flap' in duct), K&N Panel filter, Whiteline ARB, grooved/drilled discs & mintex pads, And have also gone up a profile on the tyres (205/50/16 instead of 205/45/16)

On the kitchen worktop, waiting to be fitted I have Cupra solid w/bone rear bushes & powerflex fronts

Now, my question is what next?

I was seriously considering de-cat / exhaust, and it will be remapped later this year. But is there anything else I can do to improve things? Pikey mods would be considered - I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty!

Does the decat/exhaust actually make a performance difference? Or just more noise? Conflicting opinion on here from my searches. Ideally would decat & keep original exhaust.

Not after out & out power, just want to make best use of whats there already. Not even beginning to consider FMIC, or hybrid turbos, or nos.. And I'm not messing with the appearance of the car either.

Cheers

A general map might be all you need then

But to de-cat, or not to de-cat, because it'll have to be done before the map, and don;t wanna wish I did if I don't..
