Just a couple of questions about the fuse box and fuses:

1) Why is the fuse box in my vRS a mirror image of the one in the manual (ie its the other way round :S )

2) Is there any difference in the quality of the solid colour fuses already in the fuse panel compared to the clear ones that you can buy from Halfords (or Halfrauds if you prefer)

3) Why does my alarm keep going off (is the battery on the way out or is it just the cold)

Because the manual shows a left hand drive version. Use this one

I'm pretty sure a fuse is a fuse is a fuse. I've bought them in bulk from Halfords - £6.99 for a large assorted box - MUCH better value. I much prefer "Halfords" - I fail to see why people consistently misspell that word - and others like "dealers" - it's not funny...

3) Why does my alarm keep going off (is the battery on the way out or is it just the cold)

Could be voltage drop - failing battery - the cold shouldn't set it off per se.
