wonder if anyone can help, im looking for a car trolley jack with a flat lifting area, hopefully as cheap as possible as it will be used very rarely.

What do you mean by a flat lifting area Kenny? I have a Clarke one, but just has the traditional lifting point. The ones that come into Costco from time to time also get a good rep.

Not sure if it meets your needs, but B&Q are selling a jack for £15 right now.

I was going to say have you got a Costco near you, the 3 tonne fast lift ones are great, normally about 60quid and are ultra low.

They have these in costco by us but they are 90-100 quid so dont quite meet your budget.

that guy is taking the p*SS, 150 for an arcan jack that costs £80 at costco, saying that i dont like the ally ones, mine went back as the jack arm bent and would not fully drop, so i changed it for their 3t steel one, its much better and about the same price but does weigh about a ton!!!
