Wiper park position

Featured Replies

Is there any way you can get the windscreen wipers into the park position with the engine running.

Would like to do this so I can scrape the ice off the screen while the engine is warming up and heating the rear window

Don't think so.

Why don't you put them in to the service position the night before?

Until you hit the wiper stalk they won't return to normal even with the engine running.

turns the ignition to accs. then turn off, and remove your key, then put in service position, then start your engine

...and hope they aren't frozen to the glass

Cover the screen or pour cold water onto the screen.

Open and close the bonnet while the wipers and engine are running.

That puts them into service position.

I was wanting to adjust the washer spray but it does not run with the bonnet open.
