Featured Replies

Hi all.

First off, excellent site!

Now Im lookin at a new motor after a bus f**ked up my Pug. Ive decided price/peformance that a Skoda RS suits the bill well.

The dealer didnt seem at all interested, the price was

I do know that you have to hunt very hard to get money off a brand new vRS. Discounts don't seem to come easy to Skoda dealers. This is reflected in the poor offer made to you for your Pug. The chap who is supplying my car was very suprised to get only a couple of hundred quid off from the dealer even though he is 'trade' and deals with the group regularly.

Not that good a deal IMHO.

I've had my RS since the end of September. I paid

Have you had a look at Skoda UK's site for a used RS?. Forward Motors have a 2002 RS WRC with 3762 miles for

Thats the best price i have seen for an RS. I was looking at jamjar before and there was a saving of around

DGW,

I was doin the old New Car/Second hand thing and decided that because the RS's seem to be keeping their value so well that the price diff between a used and a new one just wasn't worth it. The new owner thing will be a new novalty for me too :)

Try Mitchells on the Wirral. I did not buy my car of them as I got it at 6 months, but they offered me a price over the phone as part x 2k above anybody and prices were alot lower...

Also might want to try Horners as they have had a silver RS on show for a while...and Jan31st is a coming, new plates, time to shift registered vehicles again :D

Paid

Col,

It is Mitchells im dealing with (the one next to the Lexus garage - we talking about the same one ?)

Anyhows, to keep you all updated, the situation is now that they want me to go and test drive it, im happy to do this, but ive got to work out how to tell em to get me a better price without ****ing them off ?

S,

I don't know I never made it over there. I just got a very good offer from them pre reg transfer. I found them to be quite helpfull, but maybe thats because I had 12k cash in my pocket on the wy to buy of a trader...who knows :D.

Point of interest if your not in a rush (I know you said you were) but Gorners in Warrington have the 78/100 limited [b:3232793b36]coming[/b:3232793b36] up for sale at a [i:3232793b36]*good*[/i:3232793b36] price and it's already chipped (APR 95pgm).

If you can hold till Jan or if anybody else is interested then call Lee Sterry on 01925 232723 and say I told you about it...he might not remember me ;).

I must admit to faling for it now, where as initially I thought the white + stickers would be a bit harsh.

Hear from you soon.
