"R8" Lights

Featured Replies

What do people think of them? I think they look really nasty on some cars, but having done a photoshop of my vRS, I'm *thinking* of getting some.

What do people think?

Here comes rob with a pic

Like the look

I'm not a fan to be honest. I know Rob has done it and people seem to like it, but I think they're a bit naff. We'll look back on them in a few years as we do with shell suits and men with perms. Seemed a good idea at the time, but damn, it looks daft now.

I know it's Christmas, but fairy lights on your car? Terrible

been there, done that

I am a massive fan of rally lights to be fair :giggle:

I'd love to fit some, but I'd never get to switch them on - at least with the LEDs they can be wired into the sidelights and classed as "running lights."

Furry, that looks awesome - I like what you've done with the inside trim as well. I'm currently spraying mine! Where did you wire your LEDs in to, because by the looks of it, your sidelights aren't on?

Cheers - T

A while back I've been thinking of this as well but I've put it out of my head... they just don't seem to fit the car... these LED lights are modern, while the headlights of the octavia are not.

It would suit e.g. the new Fabia in my opinion...

only set which might convince me are the fully integrated ones from Dectane (including the bumper grilles)

but I need to see them first on a decent picture of someone who has put them on his/her car.

*edit* I am going for the US lights, seem to suit the car better

cheers

Get Andyrew to post a picture of his DLR lights, they do look good.

Wrong on all levels, apart from on an R8...
