I'm attempting to sort out some of the rattles in my car. I dropped the glove box (as have done many a time before) to cable tie wires and stuff, but this time the air pipe came off from the car end before I got a chance to disconnect it from the glove box. Doh!!

I can't figure out where it's supposed to connect to up there. Does anyone know???

Ah ha. Found it.

It's to the right of the glove box, near the center of the dash.

There's a small gap under the passenger side glove box area which, if you have smallish hands, you can get in to. I put the heater on cold full blast and scouted around. It's to the right.

Complete pain in the a$$ to get the air pipe back on it though! I had to stuff the whole pipe up there, otherwise my hand would no longer fit, then press it on, take my hand out and pull the remainder of pipe back out.

I don't think it was connected properly, as the air pipe no longer reaches as far as it did before!
