hey just got a dvd player with a 7inch screen i want to put it somewhere near the dash, has anyone else seen or done something similiar. cheers.

monkey boy did something simular.

he moved the headunit and trinket tray round then fastened the mounting for the screen into the tray so it would be above the h/u.

the screen did cover the heated screen button etc but that wasnt too much of an issue.

looked pretty cool in there too.

ive got a Blaupunkt dvd/sat nav system just installed, looks great and all fitted into the original sin space, and the nav system into the tray area underneath, processing unit had to go into the boot though, looks great and never thought dolby 5.1 would sound good in a car but it does lol

told you lies... the dials for boost etc are in the trinket tray, the lcd is connected to a bracket that fits into the gap between the centre console and the upper part of the dash iirc.
