2005 mk1 vrs funny noise

Featured Replies

well ive tryed the search function and its got me no where so thought id post a question. When i start the car untill its warm it makes a funny squeak when i rev it. At first i thought it was the auxiliary belt so changed that and the tensioner it was still there so did timing belt and water pump. Still there so replaced the dv for a 007p still there next i changed the way the dv was piped, plugged the lines and removed the vac resivor. Still there I then fitted a n75 j race valve. Next i removed the combi valve and and plugged off the pipework, removed sai pump the noise is still there its driving me mad now its only until the engine temp gets over about 80 degrees c tho it makes the same noise briefly when it dumps under heavy load. Im now totally stumpped and in need of ideas the car has done 162k but with full police service history so has never done without anything thanks in advance

Could you rewrite it maybe with some sentences as I cant understand a word!

Could possibly be the charcoal canistor?

I would get the car plugged into VAGCOM diagnostics tool to check if /what errors may be flagged up.

You could search on here for a local contact member that may be willing to let you use VAGCOM
