Having swapped my Roomster 2 1400 diesel for the current model with 1600 common rail engine, six months on I'm disappointed with the engine.

It stalls regularly - typically when slowing down at traffic light s or for a right turn and does so silently so it's not apparent till I try to pull away. also it is about 5 MPG worse then the old 1400 engine..Tthe engine is very quiet and smooth and the rest of the car is great - I like the glass roof. But I think i'll avoid the common rail engine in future.

Fabia 1? I'm guessing this should be in Fabia 2

Sounds like there is a problem to me, have you had it looked at?
