Price increase

Featured Replies

Am I missing something here?.The Yeti 140 SE4x4 was £19830 before the VAT rise so with the 20% rate that takes the price up to £20252 but according to the new price list the new price is £20615.

2% list price increase, then 2.5% vat increase on top. :(

Looks Like Mitsubishi have done the same with the prices for the ASX.

Another thing to remember is that VAG including Skoda of course is a global business. If demand is increasing rapidly elsewhere (i.e. China/India) then they can choose to sell fewer cars in the UK but extract a higher margin in that market (higher prices) and still maintain volume elsewhere.

Hardly an increase of seismic proportions, though. Might have been a lot worse.

I would not call a £8/900-00 price increase seismic but not very sensible or subtle in these harsh economic times.
