touch up paint

Featured Replies

i have a rather nasty "chip" on the wing of my octy....i suspect it been knocked by a trolley. No dint but a deep chip. Is there a particular brand of touch up paint that matches black magic pearl or do i have to buy this from skoda?

I would just buy the touch up kit direct from your local Skoda dealer.

I bought a diamond silver paint stick from an online seller & the colour match was no where near, to the point where I just used it to fill the chips as protection through the rubbish weather & have since bought the proper dealer supplied stick & taken the paint out of the chips with some thinners & re-touched the chips up.

As above , Skoda one comes with clear-coat lacquer too

+3

The dealer supplied ones are also cheaper than the kits from Halfords etc.

I've just bought a Halfords 'Volkswagen Diamond Silver' 3-pen kit to deal with a rather nasty rusting scratch and dent that a gritter lorry left on my front wing. I know the dent will still be visible, but I want to treat the rust ASAP.

Does anyone know if the colour I have is correct? Only now I see from the online catalogue that there is in fact a 'Skoda Diamond Silver' 3-pen kit out there....

Any general feedback on these pen kits and their effectiveness?

Thanks!

Yep, just drop into a dealer Dan. And if you're going to one local, I could do with a Black Magic one as well :D
