http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_17085.htm I am hoping they are the same ones they have had in the past, i.e. Tesla branded +50%. I have some H7's fitted from when they were on offer a while ago and they have lasted and are noticeably brighter. If they are I'll be buying a spare set :)

Also 5 litre screenwash good for -60 degrees undiluted and compatible with fanjet nozzles at £4.99 and a few other bits and bobs. http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/lidl_uk/hs.xsl/index_17094.htm

Tempting. I might pop in.

Cheers,

Steve

Yes - I've got the Aldi equivalent - they're actually C-Tek Battery Conditioner "clones" for a fraction of the price. Appears to work fine.

I've never had a problem...

Have you mixed VAG with non VAG.... or always just various NON VAG?

I've never seen any evidence.... but apparently if you get a cheap one that the VAG stuff doesn't like it'll congeal into a jelly like goo! Nice!

TBH, the VAG stuff isn't expensive and works better than most the Non VAG stuff I've ever bought so I just stick with it.

I've used Halfords for years in a succession of cars...

Dont want yo burst your bubble guys, i really dont like those bulbs, had a set in the smart, as soon as it got cold they started to pop, we had stocked up on them but i was getting through them like they where consumable!

I have just been to my local eurocarparts.

Came away with 8 x 5ltr of screenwash for £19.20 incl VAT

Yes thats just £2.40 for 5 ltr

Does that go down to -60 undiluted though? ;) The Lidl stuff may still be more cost effective as it can be diluted quite a bit.

Thanks for your feedback, won't be rushing to buy anymore then. Good to keep as an emergency spare and rush to buy some decent bulbs as spares then :)

Don't know.

It's a concentrate.

I use it at 25% mix with water and it never froze when the car outside temp gauge went to -17 over christmas so it will do for me.
