Odd question for you all

Where is the horn located at the font of the car?

Got a new one to go on :yes:

Please dont say bumper removal :(

Its behind the front bumper. :p

(on the nearside, but inside/below the nearside headlight.

could i get to it removing the foglight surround?

Wiring Diagram questions.

Im asuming its a loop? battery, steering wheel, fuse/relay horn, ground? or something along those lines

There are 2 wires into the horn both black, one has a strip of colour down it.... which one is live and which one is earth?

If answers are made before the day is out i should have a working Stebel Nautalus on the furby

Only other thing im not sure on is the original horn has a VW spec connector. do i look into wireing into the connector or do i just chop and crimp :wonder:?

Just had a quick look at Haynes :- Black/Yellow is Live and Brown is Earth

Indeed, nearside just in front of the washer bottle. VW spec connectors
