Hello All,

Bought my VRS a month(ish) ago, needed a car as my audi got half inched.

Its a red 04, standard except a 180 bhp remap + K&N filter. Just started sorting a few things like new boots on the front as they would have not looked out of place on an F1 grid. Struggled to get hold of some Rainsport 2's so settled on Pirelli P Zero Neros. Ordered some rainsports so waiting for them to come. It needs a service and was going to do the timing belt at the same time for safety (102k), is it worth doing the water pump at the same time?

Also fancy getting shot of the chrome surround on the bonnet (spraying it black), was also going to remove the number plate for a wide mouth look. Also tempted to do the fins near the spots, and possibly door mirrors. Whilst having the tyres fitted I spotted that the front bumper could do with a tidy up but instead of spraying red now thinking about spraying it black.

Anyone done this? Photos wold be great.

yeah when i buy mine id like to colour code mine.. bumpers.. door handles.. mirrors.. think it will look abit better =]

Yes - but I'm confused why someone with a red car would be painting all the "colour code" elements black - including the bumper! Will look like a car that's had an accident, had a secondhand bumper fitted, and is awaiting it being painted...

Ive just sent off my grille to a friend that will be carbon fibre wrapping the chrome bit on my grille. Should look great. If you want a price PM me and i can get one for you

Just fancied something different that was all, starting thinking grill, then fins, then door mirrors, whole bumper may be a bit over board I know hence the question/opinion. Was just thinking the big mouth (obviously black) and black bumper.

Would have preferred a black car but the red one was something I could not miss.

I think red with everything colour coded looks the nuts, prefer it to my SE (blue)

I'm all for colour coding (ROS53Y's car looks great), but painting the bumper black?!! Think you've lost it there mate! I understand where you're coming from but what about where the front 1/4 meets the bumper?

Heres one with some black bits... fog surrounds and grille, must say it looks better with everything red (door handles and front grille)

id like to get all the silver colour coded.. how much would it be for the door handels and the black strip below the ridge in middle of car down the side..
