Dismounting the driver's door panel

Featured Replies

I'd like to know how to do this in order to be able to check/replace the window. Thanks a lot

^^Good guide, wish I'd seen this when my window regulator went.

Only difference is they're not bolted in, they are riveted, so you'll be needing some correctly sized pot rivets to put the carrier back on again.

Depends on age if its bolted or rivited, about 2005 ish they changed.

Changed which way? My 54 plate is riveted.

Bolted first, so being a 54 plate it would be about then as I thought.

Cheapskates, rivets are a massive pain.

You could just get some small self tappers or bolt/nut sets to save having to buy a rivet gun surely?

Cannot imagine you can get 6mm self-tappers. I doubt the bolts and nuts could be used effectively either.

You could probably use rivnuts.
