For very low you need to ensure you keep the offset at 35 and no lower else you will risk hitting tyre on metal of the arch. I imagine for ultra low, 7J wheel and ET40 would be best to tuck the wheels inside out of harms way.

search for the fabia stance archive [why isnt this a sticky?] , bound to be some in there, or even have a look in the alloy wheel archive at top of this page emoticon-0148-yes.gif

I'm running S3 avus's. I'm sure they're a low 30's offset, I'm all the way no cups in the back, and the front to match, didn't go any lower cos I still like to enjoy country roads a little. 205 they're fine, maybe slight scrubbing on hard cornering, but 215's they rub a lot. On the 05's they do look "tucked" a little I really like it. I'll get some pictures if you want

Matt, what make tyres do you have. I had good years in 205/40 and they had a nice stretch but I have just bought yoko paradas and they dont look as though my cars going to enjoy it...

Yoko parada spec 2 tyres? There the best tyre for the dry, youll love them. Mine did catch the arch, but it just smoothed the tyre wall and burnt through the plastic so once that stage has happened they'll be fine hehe.

i could still go alot lower and i had no issues at all. 205/40/17 yoko parada 17" 7.5j et 30 sat pretty much spot on.

Pip, what wheels are they?

When I had 205's only had nakangs on cos I wasn't running much power. But a mate swapped to 215's and said how it feels like there's less tyre roll, which it did slightly so I'm running 215's now. Also, tyres with rim protectors look weird streched a little

TT Comps as said above. I have a set of 6 spokes for sale cheap if anyone wants any.

205/40's & et 32

I've got RS4 replicas 7.5x17" ET35 and no catching.

Rear is as low as it will go with adjusters out, the front was nearly all the way down when I got the car and only the passenger side wheel catched when turning sharply but never with normal driving but I lifted it up slightly and it's been fine since

Now, I've been trying to decide whether I'd want my Spiders powdercoated white but thought spiders might look a bit duff done in white... however this looks pretty good. Wondering how it would look on a black car... I feel like something else would need to be done white for it to work.
