Rear speakers

Featured Replies

Since the thread about the rear speakers on eBay was put on I have only relized that the Vrs has back speakers, duhhh!! I think I've never noticed before due to them not working at all :( Is there a fuse for rear speakers,I have had a quick look in the handbook but no joy... I've also traced the speaker cables as far back as I could and there is no visible signs of damage, anyone had the same issues?it's just the standard headunit,

however the previous owner had an aftermarket headunit in and swapped back before the sale, but all the wires behind the unit seem to be original and not altered.

Have you checked that the fader is not set for the front / centre speakers only?

Just to rule out the obvoius, it's not set on the HU to front only is it?

I'm near sure I don't have that option, this isnt a cd player headunit its a only tapedeck/radio.I'll have a go at it at again in the morning but as I say im near sure it only has a center (L&R) fader....

Think they do. My old tape unit in the Fabia, and the tape/CD changer in the Polo have the fader option. It had BAL and FAD options IIRC. Can't remember how to get to it on the Fabia though. Is it an MS502 radio? Cos they defo have the the option for rear speakers, although I think it might have been on a seperate button to the other one.

no fuse for speakers on any system....

if its the standart radio it does have Front Rear setting, check you manual

if its an aftermarket headunit, all of them have F/R L/R controls, except those who are 2 channel

if someone did an install (not factory of corse) maybe they left out the rear speakers by mistake

Its an ms202 head unit, looked in the handbook, no way off adjusting the front and back fader, they must have cut the cable somewhere and used to wire speakers to the parcel shelf,bellends.....going to pull the interior apart till i can find it
