So far so very good but still not quite come to terms with the DSG box, also Dunlop SP Sport useless in ice & snow, so will choose a new make eventually.

My 1.2 Yeti DSG changes down when it should not. For example on a very mild upward motorway incline, at 70mph will change down to 6th & on a more severe incline like approaching the Pennines from the west will even go down to 5th but put it into Tiptronic, will sail up any motorway incline in 7th without difficulty and even at lower speeds. Worse still I often have to go down a moderately steep hill. After going round a bend at the top in 5th and letting the car naturally pick up speed to go down the hill, the gearbox does not continue into a higher gear but goes down to 3rd and stays there with the revs equal to driving over 90mph (on the flat) and the engine roaring. The box can again be manipulated by using Tiptronic, manually keeping it in 5th until nearing an approaching give way sign. Past auto gearboxes( from other makes) have never given me such a problem. I do not want to have to fall back to Tiptronic for a sensible performance. Apart from this moan, I do feel the Yeti certainly reaches every expectation. Dealer interest is outstanding.
