rear wheel bearing

Featured Replies

I need to replace a rear wheel bearing on my Ambiente 2003 model, looking at Haynes seems fairly straightforward, are there different bearings/hubs for ABS or non ABS

thanks

Its pretty straight forward, just a bit of hassle getting the breaing puller on it! apart from that its ok

I read you need a press??

Mr Haynes says you can put it in a 'big vice' but I dont have one and it sounds like a complete PITA so im putting it in the garage as it sounds like a bag of spanners in a washing machine.

Think Mr Haynes also has the info on ABS? dont all octys have ABS??

Fronts definitely need a press, otherwise the chance of destroying the ABS ring is almost 100%. Not sure on the rears.

Ambiente = drums on the rear?
