Rear Seats

Featured Replies

I wonder if anyone can help. I have recently bought a VRS SE (very pleased with it so far!) and have this afternoon tried to fit a baby seat. In messing around I have realised that the smaller of the two rear seat backs (behind passenger) is attached differently to the larger one. Where it hinges from the floor, it is easy to unclip & lift out the seat back altogether.

It this normal/Correct?

I trust it is still safe, as when upright the seat clips to the floor & the mounting higher up, so seat remains rigid, but obviously I am keen to know as this will be the seat the baby seat is attached to!

Any advice would be much appreciated as there does not appear to be any mention of this in the manual.

Many Thanks.

Think I have snwered my own question!

The base catch was just sticky. Catch now releared & down & both seats secure!

I hope it's meant to pop out easily as the same thing happened to me and I thought the previous owner had jiggered the seat, needless to say the air was as blue as my se, the slippery leather really makes the seat base pop forwards slickly too!

have fun in your se
