Skoda Accessories

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've just signed up to a Skoda service plan and got £100 of vouchers to spend on genuine Skoda parts, merchandise of accessories (from a dealer)

I don't really need anything for the car (It's a Fabia vRS SE) so I'm looking for ideas on what to spend the money on.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Jack

Screenwash

Skoda dealers sell autoglym stuff, get a load of that

You can send them to me, I would not offend you by refusing :giggle:

If the weather is going to get colder again extra screenwash would be worth getting. You have to use so much to stop the washers freezing.

AG Shampoo conditioner, to remove the salt and dirt, as good a shampoo as many.

Floor matts, mud flaps, headlight protectors, iPod/MP3 connectivity kit?

Elegance Drawer for the dash?

Cargo net? Cupholder? PD oil?

Thanks all,

Is the skoda screenwash good stuff? I think I'll get some AG cleaning stuff.

I was thinking of getting new mats as the original ones are a bit tatty.

Has anyone fitted mudflaps to their cars?

On the other hand, as the vouchers are valid for parts too, I might wait a bit in case anything needs replacing.

There must be some accessories you'd want? There's not all that much on the vRS SE :)

Boot liner/boot net/Elegance drawer/rear Elegance cupholder all spring to mind....

I've already bought the elegance cup holder otherwise that'd be top of my list.

What's the elegance drawer? Anyone got a photo?

I had a look on skoda's accessories website and quite fancied this

Any more suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks for the link Wardy

Thanks gr666

Looks good actually, might be one for the shopping list, that way I can keep my iPod hidden in the drawer!

How do you find the draw and the aftermarket head unit?

I tried fitting a spare CD player I had to test it, and the top of the drawer would catch on it meaning you had to pull the drawer out by hand.

Also where did you get the airbag deactivate switch as I thought that wasn't even an option?

Mine doesn't catch on the head unit BUT it does stick a little.

However I have the cup holder (Not in pic) and all the extra wiring for my Parrot kit behind there too

so it's a little cramped to say the least. When I bought the car it had the stock head unit and the shelfy thing.

I bought the car 2nd hand but the airbag off switch was indeed an option for about £50 odd quid IIRC

presumably the original owner specced it cos they had an anklebiter.
