Help with TT brake conversion

Featured Replies

Just looking for a push in the right direction. Have purchased off ebay some Audi tt calipers/carriers/green stuff pads & EBC 312mm discs and have now cleaned and painted them. ( Do not know how to add photos yet, only 2nd post )

Will be getting them fitted by a garage i use as i dont trust myself with brakes, will the bolts i have on my vrs do the job of connecting these or will i have to purchase the tt bolts as these did not come with the package.

I think i remember seeing a post saying the tt bolts are needed and also gave the part No. but cant find it again as the brake topic is quite popular.

Also any views on brake hoses, standard or i have seen some nice HEL lines ( both TT fitment ) and has anyone experience of ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid, any good over standard brake fluid?

Thanks for any help/advice.

Not a Fabia owner but I can speak highly of the ATE Super Blue. Used it in my fast road spec Nissan Primera and a friend used it to good effect in his Ibiza Cupra R :)

In the fabia-vrs.com guide does the "Brake carrier with pad retaining pin 1U0 615 125 - Pair refer to the fitment bolts?

Standard bolts and brake lines are just fine
