Bad start to the day...

Featured Replies

Got home a bit late last night, couldn't park anywhere other than on a grass verge in the next street.

Just been back to retrieve the car to its rightful place outside my house and have managed to rip the large black plastic sump guard off the bottom on a little tree stump that was invisible as it must have been partly under the car already. :thumbdwn:

Despite the fact that it ripped a hole in the plastic, there doesn't look to be any further damage and thankfully I can't see any leaks. How critical is it to have this replaced urgently (barring any cross-country expedtions) and any ideas how much? Bearing in mind I'm about two months' pay behind, so I am more than a little skint at the moment...

Cheers for any comments

Well, I needed an excuse to check them out now they're Caffyns rather than QAS...

I'd have happily waited for the first service though, or something under warranty lol

Bet you felt stupid when you realised what you had done. Been there, myself. I ran over a low stone wall around a tree in the car park of the church that I got married in, on my wedding day.............Could see the tree but not the wall which was about 3 foot closer. Was trying to do a multi point turn in tight space when bang rip, ther goes the front skirt of the Felicia :(.

More annoyed than stupid. At least nobody saw and I didn't even see any net curtains twitching lol
