It's basically getting rid of the muffler, and replacing with a straight through pipe

Just to give you an idea

is there any consequences to this i.e mot failure, excess smoke etc etc? and how much is this? what parts are needed? where would you get it done? Sounds awesome

what all is needed to do this? im going to do this myself

what all do i need? how much piping? diameters etc? and from what i can see from pics, there is a pipe replacing the back box, then what looks like another pipe which is angled downwards to the tailpipe. should i use a separate piece of piping for this or get the pipe bent? would be much easier if there was just one pipe straight through to the tailpipe.

Need about 2 to 2.5 feet of 50mm exhaust pipe - cut & shut with existing pipe just before backbox starts, then go for tail of choice. Any decent exhaust place should do this relatively cheaply.

im sorry cut and shut? lol just one straight pipe from the cut to the tail is all that is needed?

Nope, I consider the silencer to be something you put in the middle of the exhaust system, even if the backbox performs a silencing duty.
