This may sound sad to some people, but is there a way to add on a beep sound when you lock/unlock the car? Also making the sidelights flash faster at a different speed. I am just curious

Beep can be enabled on arm and/or disarm. Not aware of the sidelight flashing being modifyable Can be done by someone with VAG-COM or by your local dealer...........

Ah sorry - assumed you had a vRS. In that case, I don't think it's possible as the alarm siren is what does the beeping. Aftermarket alarms will let you do what you want, but will not be a cheap option

I'm happy with the satisfying solid CLUNK! of a big K RCL install on my Fab TDI comfort. And the three flash for open, one solid for close, of the indicators is fine too.... Not sure I'd want of those high pitched MEEP MEEP sounds.

lol, the CLUNK sounds good, but when ur far away and you lock your car and it does the MEEP MEEP its much better.

Yeah, I think thats because K basically fitted the Skoda OEM system into my car, which didn't come with remote c/l. Dead handy in the rain it is, run, CLUNK, open, SLAM! *phew

Sometimes I find the range is a little lacking, but its usually because the receiving white wire has fallen down into the dashboard, so I need to whip the fuse box cover off and re-poke it up to get a better signal. Maybe next time I'll actually stick it to something.

I only have mine on as a deterent for the ****'s that live on the swmbo's estate :(

In away it does make you feel 'flash' when it beeps and everyone turns in there head to have a peek

Stop it :eek: im tempted to get one now... but as people said, its pretty expensive and I doubt my P/T job will cover petrol money let alone the MEEP MEEP :(
