hello friends,

I'm having a problem in my Octavia 1U that is, when I arrive from a a small trip (home to work or vice-versa) and turn off the car, remove the key from ignition and open the door, the buzz rings for 2 seconds with the lights off. I have disconnected the switch and still buzz for 2 seconds with lights off, so in my opinion the switch is out of question but I want to know if any of you, had faced the same problem.

Daft question where's your indicator switch pointing? If you leave your indicator on it acts as a parking switch leaving your side light on on one side and it buzzes. Just thought I'd try the obvious first

nothing to do with that. no turn signal.

I park my car, switch off the lights, remove the key from ignition and open the door. automatic buzz for 2 seconds.
