Caliper paint colour match?

Featured Replies

I have now owned my Vrs for just over a month, due to good weather and a day off gave it its first proper thorough wash and in the process noticed that some paint on the rear calipers has chipped off, what paint would be the best match (i will offcource do all four but would like to stick with the original colour.

There was a hammerite green that was a perfect match, however, they discontinued it. Might still find some about tho

I think the word Dark Green will mean it will be much darker in colour than the green on brake calipers. (Hopefully I'm proved wrong, I want some)

There was a smooth 'Hammerite' paint that was light in colour and was a very close match, I saw on E-Bay last year, but seems

now as rare as hen's teeth.

Member below is quite correct. as I contacted this seller. who stated this is not 'Dark Green' - ( 20/01/2011)emoticon-0148-yes.gif

This 750ml tin as quoted below is expensive, but I believe will be the nearest shade to original.emoticon-0148-yes.gif
