Fabia traction control problem

Featured Replies

A mate test drove a fabia on my behalf today and said after about 1 mile of driving the traction control light comes on and stays on until you turn the engine off then the same happens again in the nxt mile. TC works when light is off and dosent when light is on as you would expect but any ideas whats making it come on?

Also it needs engine mounts how much would they be? and are they easy to get at?

I believe it to be the load signal wire is broken but not 100% sure on it.

A scan with vagcom will confirm it, easy fix if it is the wire broken

Ok thanks for that, here would i find the wire in question?

Another quick check if the DFM (load signal wire) is broken is the lack of a battery light with the ignition.

However the TC light can come on for a few reasons so a fault code check is worthwhile.
