Interior and vanity lights not working!

Featured Replies

Just a quickie, I'm sure it's something simple!

My interior lights (in the roof, by the sun roof controls) have stopped working, but only in the front.

The illuminated mirrors have stopped working too!

Bizarrely the rear passenger internal roof lights still work, along with all of the button illumination in the roof controls, including the cat vision.

Is this just a fuse or something?

Thanks in advance!

I have identical symptoms. It is usually caused by water ingress into the passenger footwell. However, I have the same problem without the water leakage. The issue is poorly made joints in the wiring loom under the passenger side carpet corroding and causin g the faults. This is the #1 problem on Mk1 Superbs and is well documented in a sticky at the top of this section of the forum.
