Featured Replies

Hi guys me again! :) I know most octy vrs' are 17" alloys as std - but i think i read somewhere that some early ones where shipped with 16"s? Anyone shed any light on this? (as most likely i will be looking at an early reg)

A***. Dont really want 16s. Hmmm. Must have a rethink. Cheers guys!

Most if not all octy vRS in Republic of Ireland come with 16" standard (i assume the same for all european imports).

The estate vRS also comes with 16s as standard.

I think it was only a very few Octy RS hatchbacks that were sold officially with 16" alloys in this country - most of the other ones that have 16" alloys are imports. I wouldn't change your ideas too much since most of the early ones still had 17" alloys - mine is a Y reg and has them  As freakcrab says, all estates acome with 16" as standard.

Panicked for a minute.mine is a Y reg but the wheels do look bigger than on our furby vrs.must be 17" :)

My Sept 2001 51 plate had 16's on it.

However i'm not sure if these were on from new, or if they had been put on somewhere in the 2 years before I picked it up.
