Hi guys,since a flat battery,and the wrong code being entered,the radio now permanently displays SAFE and is stuck in a locked state.Can anyone please help/advise as to my next move??

Assuming you have the correct code, disconnecting the battery or HU will give you the opportunity to enter the code again. There are instructions in the HU's manual if you're unsure how to enter the code.

Thanks very much,i'm technically useless! I am now in posesion of what i believe is the correct code so will give that a go,thanks again.

Disconnected battery,left it so for an hour,reconnected and still displaying SAFE with the inability to enter the code? Am i doing something wrong? cheers.

Without checking I am pretty sure that you have to leave the Head Unit turned ON for an hour to get another chance to enter the code.

The ECU will eventually see the radio as belonging to your car and it will work without any code. Just leave the radio switched on and in a few days it will start working. Don't keep trying inputing the code.
