Skoda Fabia Comfort 2004 ' WET REAR FOOTWELLS'

Featured Replies

Hi, Any advice / ideas would be gratefully appreciated please. My son has a Skoda Fabia Comfort 2004 1.2 Petrol ( 1st Car ) and since about Nov/Dec he's been complaining about loads of moisture in car. Oops, bad mother I suppose, didn't really take much notice. Anyway finally got round to checking it out at the weekend and his REAR Footwells are really wet ( if you push your hand down into the carpet a puddle appears). Have checked rear washer and it's working well, good force of water comming out, although about a 5 secod delay. I can't find any leaks around the doors. Under back seats are dry and all vertical carpet is dry. What else can I check? We don't have much money so whatever needs to be done, we will have to do, it can't go into a garage.

Your views would be appreciated. Thank You.

Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome to Briskoda.

This is a common problem on the Fabia and there is a guide IIRC in the Fabia 1 section on how to repair this.
