I would like to know if i could fit staggered(9J rears 8j fronts) BBS CH reps to my MK1 Octavia VRS? I would be planning to fit 225 40 18 tyres all round and have the slightly stretched look on the rears. Would there be any scrubbing or chashes? My car is completly standard at the mo. Thanks in advance

i may be wrong .. but if u stretch a tyre it will alter the profile .. so u will have different profiles on the front than the back

Ive got a set of rs6 replica wheels and there 18x8 but measure then width wise and there 9inch wide, i put them on when suspension was standard and they looked a tight fit under back archs,

Got a feeling 18 x 9j will probably scrap under load, am sure there is somebody on here with porche wheels on that are wider on rear, have a look on wheel archive at top of this forum thing

Look in the rimfest thread there's a yellow Vrs with 9.5x18's on,

I'll be keeping an eye on it's progress as I'm looking at some 9.5x18 rota grids for mine

mines fine on 18x9 with 215/40s

Thanks for the input guys.wheels arrived today went for staggered ch in silver. Wheels look awsome hope they fit with no issues :-) Thanks to motorsport and spares ni great advice and rapid delivery, ordered 2pm yesterday and were with me first thing from northern island. Good price too!
