Saw a Merc GL450 today, and my do they look huge.

About the size of a Range Rover, but the sweeping coach line at the front and slab back makes it look much bigger. Looks quite nice though in black, with larger chrome wheels and obligatory drug dealer windows.

Just been to the US (first time) where I saw the GL as only a mid-sized SUV Lincoln Navigator anyone?

Also noticed that MB now offer a GLK in addition to the GL and not forgetting the ML, MLK and of course the old school G-wagon. How many SUVs do they need?

They are indeed quite big as is the "R" class.

Had a good look round them last Sunday as we went to Mercedes Benz World at Brooklands, well worth visit.
