Can Cruise Control be retrofitted?

Hi guy's,

I'm going to look at a 2005 Octavia 2.0 TDi PD Sport today that doesn't appear to have cruise fitted. Is it possible to retrofit it and is it a do at home job or a day in the dealers type affair?

Many thanks for your help. I did have a quick look round but couldn't find an answer elsewhere.

You need VCDS to activate it, but there's people in the Site Sponsors section who can install in about an hour using OEM parts.
