vRS Black alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Well, I am shocked that I've gone back on my thoughts over black alloys! :o

Originally, I didn't go for them because I thought they'd look more 'boy racer' but actually, I think they go just as well as the silver alloys.

Can anyone tell me how much it would cost to fit 4 black ones? Would it still cost £100 for the 4 , as it was when I first purchased the car??

Cheers

You aren't going to get 4 new wheels for £100! Would you even get the silver ones powdercoated for that....?

I think someone posted a link and you can buy then for around £115 per wheel - so with tyre change and balancing your probably looking at £500

Search and your find the link, I am sure it was posted in January

Hope this helps

Thanks for the replies chaps, I'm quite happy to stick with my silver alloys ,there's no way I'll be forking out £500 notes....not worth it.

I think only when you order the car you can get the different colour alloys as an option £100 to change like sports suspention factory option £95

or when they get a bit more worn in the future you could get them refurbished in black at the same time as changing tyres, so no need for extra cost of refitting tyres.

u might need a spare set of wheels (winter whels if u have any)

i had a quote for a set of vrs wheel&tryes 1.0000 quid at ams just the wheels were 750.00 the you got to the get tryes

just seen about of set of 17s aollys & tryes 600.00 just as nice has the vrs ones

Hi this was just before the vat increase but the wheel specialist quoted me at £233 for all four wheels to be completely repainted and the take the tyres off acid dip the wheels paint fit and balance which i didnt think was two bad. that was in white.

Though i was looking at that blue that they paint porsche gt3 rs wheels and they wanted another £50 which i did not like. But i can understand as he would have to buy the paint and it would just sit on the shelf and go off probably.

they have branches everywhere so mite be worth a look

I dropped the car off today for a few " extras" to be done.

I liked these, but they don't fit Fabia's

There was a Evo X in and that had a new powder-coated set of Black wheels fitted to it. Fantastic finish on them.
